"Day 6 - Biking Belgium's countryside and seashore" Canadian_couple's photos around Bruges, Belgium Monday, March 21, 2011

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Bruges, Belgium by TravelPod blogger Canadian_couple titled "Day 6 - Biking Belgium's countryside and seashore" Canadian_couple's travel blog entry: "Day 6 -- Bruges Those church bells really get you up on time! We were out of the room by 8:45 -- a record! Had a big breakfast again and made it to the bell tower for the opening at 9:30. Now the guidebook says this is 366 steps, but it doesn't mention how narrow they are. Luckily there are several stopping points where rooms open up to take a break, but you spend a lot of time squeezing up against the stairwell walls to let people pass in the opposite direction. Also, the view is somewhat inaccurately represented in the film In Bruges. All the openings are fenced and the walls are so thick it is almost impossible to see the square immediately below. But you do get a nice view of the surrounding areas and I love the carved directions that show how many kilometres to Amsterdam, Paris, Damme, etc. The way down was faster but I don't know if it is worth the price. It costs €8 per person, not the €5 Rick Steves claimed in his 2009 book. With our hotel's discount card we paid €6 each. Next we wanted one last tourist stop in Bruges but got a little confused as to exactly what it would be. MB said he wanted to see the church. I assumed he meant the Basilica of the Holy Blood so I headed in the direction of Burg Square but he kept telling me we were going the wrong way. After some ...

Toothpaste Warning Tuesday, January 18, 2011

For some time now I've been aware of the horrible health problems contained within a tube of toothpaste, but lately it's becoming something I'm thinking about a lot. Flurosis is probably a word not many people have heard of, yet. But it's becoming more and more common in society now... The cause? Fluoride toxicity.

Too much fluoride in the body becomes toxic, same as anything which has become over-exposed in the body; even air can become toxic if too much is taken in at any one time, because the body can't handle it. What we also must remember though, is that fluoride itself IS an extremely dangerous substance and is used as a pesticide for small pests including rats and mice!

Symptoms of flurosis:

- Permanent tooth discoloration

- Chalky white patches on teeth

- Brown strained teeth

- Yellow stained teeth

- Weak teeth

- Weakens bones

- Damages enamel-forming cells

Effects of fluoride in the body:

- Fluoride can start to deposit within the bones

- Fluoride stimulates un-natural bone growth

- Fluoride mutates human cells (a mutated cell is a diseased cell)

- Fluoride competes with iodine which can cause thyroid problems

- Fluoride has shown to cause bone cancer

- Fluoride increases the risk of cancer and tumor growth anywhere in the body

- Fluoride is linked to causing osteosarcoma

- Fluoride damages the cells in teeth

- Fluoride is heavily linked to causing bone deforming arthritic-type diseases

- Fluoride increases the aging process

- Fluoride disrupts the healthy function of the immune system

- Fluoride increases arthritis

- Ok that's enough... I could be here all day!

So how is society becoming over-exposed to fluoride?

- Water supply

- Tea (not all)

- Fluoridated dentil products

- Sprayed on fruits and vegetables

- Dentist use at the end of visits

- Industrial air emissions containing fluoride

- Medicines containing fluoride

Toothpaste is something we use one, twice or maybe even three times a day and therefore is playing a big roll in increasing fluoride levels within the body, in-fact, there is enough fluoride in a family size tube of toothpaste to kill an 11kg (25pound) child. With that being said, I'm sure we can all agree that there is obviously way too much fluoride in toothpaste to keep using it, day after day after day.

In some countries, including the US, manufactures must put a warning on every tube of toothpaste saying "If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison-control center right away". The size recommended on a tube of toothpaste for brushing your teeth is the size of a pea!

There is enough fluoride in our water supply to start causing negative effects on our health; even counties such as Belgium, Norway, France, Sweden and the UK have banned fluoride from their water supply due to the lack of quality evidence showing fluoride to be beneficial towards our health, and the concern over possible health risks from an over exposure to fluoride.

One brand of toothpaste that I know of that does NOT contain fluoride or other health declining ingredients, is Weleda.

Also, be sure to check out this short YouTube documentary on fluoride contained in our water supply:

Talking to the Locals - They Know Their Area Best Wednesday, January 12, 2011

I have been lucky enough to do a lot of traveling. As a child, my parents took me and my siblings on an annual vacation that was usually no shorter than a week. As I got older, I was fond of traveling and continued to do it with my significant other. Also, I was lucky enough that my job required some travel as well.

I am from the US and have visited more than half of the Unites States, Canada, Mexico, Norway, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Luxemburg, Antigua, The Bahamas, Bermuda, and a few other Caribbean islands. The one thing that is common to all of these places is that I did not know anyone before I visited them.

Not only did all of these places offer some very interesting attractions to visit (natural beauty, restaurants, shopping, historical places and landmarks, famous events and sometimes even a rare festival/event I was lucky enough to be in town for), but they all also had friendly people that would be willing to talk with you if you were willing to take the chance and start a conversation.

Of course it was very interesting to experience the standard tourist attractions and eat the local food, but some of the most interesting experiences I have had while traveling were at pubs, restaurants, or even standing in line and talking to someone who is local to that area.

In general, people are friendly and willing to talk to you if you approach them in a kind manner. I personally usually start conversations by leading off with a joke of some sort. Maybe, people don't feel threatened by me because I come with a smile - I don't know. One thing is for sure - once they get talking, I hope they nver stop.

Conversations with strangers while traveling have educated me on local history, provided suggestions about places to visit, made me laugh, and sometimes even resulted in a long-term friendship. I have learned so much and heard so many stories simply by sitting next to someone at a pub and saying, "How about this weather?". None of these things were possible if I would have just sat down and minded my own business.

I now make it a point to talk to people while traveling. I have always enjoyed talking to people, so it's not something I have to work at. Sometimes there is a language barrier, but let me tell you - those are often the most fun conversations (I have talked with people for hours using bar napkins and a pencil, or hand signals... and, believe it or not, had great conversations).

I hope that next time you travel, you remember this article and take the opportunity to speak with someone you might not have spoken with before reading about my experiences. I hope the conversations you have with them enhance your trip - even if it is just by making you smile one more time.

How to Make Her Explode With Orgasmic Pleasure Every Single Time You Have Sex With Her Tuesday, January 11, 2011

A relationship is not complete without a successful sex life. Girls expect men to know what they're doing and to lead the way to pleasure inside the bedroom. But what if a man is not able to provide pleasure? Most men know the importance of sex in a relationship but they end up concentrating only on their pleasure in bed, disregarding their partner's.

Can you imagine just how amazing your love life could be if your girlfriend continues to get satisfied in bed with you? Here are some tips for men who want their girlfriends to long for sex with them every single day...

Make Her Explode in Pleasure Every Time You Make Love - Three Tips

Technique 1: "Relax, Babe".

Your girlfriend must feel completely relaxed all throughout. Her level of comfort determines the intensity of her orgasm. A woman can only feel pleasure when all her other senses are at ease. If she's tense, her mind will be on something else and not the emotions she's feeling for you at that moment.

Knead her muscles with your lips and fingers alternately. Make sure you say something that will soothe her mind while you're at it.

Technique 2: "Oral Stimulation"

Even if you've never gone down on a woman before, act like you have and enjoy every minute of it. If you hesitate, a woman will feel your awkwardness and will feel like she's forcing you to go down.

Start on the fleshy part of her mound and move on to her clitoris. A woman's sensitive spots will be suffused with blood during sex so you can't miss them.

Do not rush oral sex. A girl will not climax with simple "licking". You have to act like you're savoring her very essence and showing her more love than she can handle. Maintain eye contact to keep the sexual connection going.

Technique 3: "Increase Sexual Connection".

Remember the ABCs of making love: always be caressing. A woman likes being touched on her erogenous zones, particularly the spot most guys miss... her g spot. Touching this tiny ridge located along the walls of her portal will increase sexual connection.

Now a bonus tip that you will find useful if you want to make any woman orgasm fast... There exists a secret two-step method that underground seduction masters use to make any woman orgasm literally by COMMAND: details are at this website - http://www.ZenGasms.com.

The ZenGasms system is chock full of unknown methods on generating female arousal - derived from the sex secrets from Zen masters of the East. Highly controversial and often perceived to be manipulative - this stuff is not for the faint-hearted. However, if you are ready to give ANY woman mind blowing orgasms virtually by command, and don't mind pushing the envelope, then do this. Click on the following link for a free report on how to induce female orgasms by using only your voice: ZenGasms Leaked Chapter.
